Daily Care and Playtime
An active dog is a happy dog! Dogs are turned out to run and play multiple times per day in our large fully fenced back yard. We have a 1-2 hour period of quiet time each day for naps and to allow dogs to rest undisturbed.
Meals are served twice a day, starting with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and dinner at 5:00 p.m. plus lunch served at noon upon your request. We provide a high-quality feed for your pet’s stay. You are welcome to bring your own food and we will feed it at no additional cost.
We can also give any medications needed at no additional cost. We're happy to accommodate any special dietary or medical requests for your dog to keep them healthy and give you peace of mind while you're away.
We do not care for sick or ill dogs. If your dog is sick or has been ill with a contagious virus or illness in the last 30 days before boarding and grooming appointments we will not take your dog in to protect the health of all our dogs.
Clean and Fresh
To ensure the cleanest facility possible, our indoor floors and kennels are treated twice a day. We supply bedding for your dog at night, which are washed daily to prevent the spread of bacteria. We do not accept any outside bedding or fabric toys as a way to keep our environment exceptionally clean.
Each morning, we rinse, sanitize and squeegee every kennel in addition to degreasing and scrubbing them on an ongoing basis. We also remove and sanitize every water bowl and food tray after each use to provide every dog with a clean and comfortable space to sleep at night.
DOGS PREFER THEIR OWN FOOD
Sensitive tummies do best when kept on a regular diet. Please provide enough food for your stay. However, quality food can be provided if desired at no additional cost.
MEDICATIONS/ TREATS ETC
Any medication should be clearly labeled and include written instructions with your dog’s name, type of medication, dosage and schedule. You are also welcome to pack a few treats for your dog’s visit as long as they are appropriately labeled and safe.

SlatMill Training
Slatmill training is ideal for high drive dogs that love to run! We will train your dog to run on the slatmill over a period of 3-6 sessions for most dogs. This is a great mental and physical stimulation for all canines.
A slatmill is a treadmill that is doggie powered. There is not a motor because the dog is the motor and controls how fast or slow they want to go. The length of time that we exercise dogs all depends on the dog’s fitness level and endurance and overall capacity. The dog’s needs and well-being are always the top priority in training. Training sessions can vary from as short as 5-10 minutes for a dog’s first training session, and as long as 30 or more minutes for more seasoned dogs.
Slatmill training can be added on to boarding stays or you can purchase individual packages with set appointment times.
Slatmill Training Packages
Intro to Slatmill Training - 10 Training Sessions $300
Single Slatmill Run Session $35
BULK PACKAGE - 10 SLATMILL Training Sessions for $250 ( *AVAILABLE ONLY TO DOGS WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY US FOR SLATMILL TRAINING)

FLEA AND TICK POLICY
To ensure that we maintain a flea and tick free environment, our facility is on a extermination program inside and outside. Pets will be inspected for fleas and ticks upon check-in. We reserve the right to refuse pets with fleas or ticks. We require all pets receiving boarding or training be on flea and tick preventative, as well as parasite preventative.
We advise customers whose pets are found to have fleas and ticks at the time of check-in to: exterminate their home, yard and their dog’s bedding and re-apply their flea preventative before returning their dog back into the home environment.
If fleas or ticks are found on a dog during the check-in inspection, a Capstar pill will be given immediately at the customer's expense. A flea bath may be given if our schedule allows. If our schedule does not allow and/or the case is severe, the customer or emergency contact must remove the dog from our facility to be professionally bathed elsewhere in order to return. Ticks are very difficult to find and kill. Young ticks can be as small as a grain of pepper. Therefore, if ticks are found on a pet at check in the pet may not stay in our facility. We do not offer chemical shampoo, dipping or de-ticking services. The customer or emergency contact must remove the pet immediately from our facility. Prior to returning to our facility, the pet must be professionally bathed and de-ticked and the owner must provide a tick preventative to be applied by us. The owner or emergency contact must wait for the pet to be re-inspected. If ticks are still found, the owner must remove the pet from our facility.
Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policies
To secure a Boarding Reservation you will be required to provide a deposit. The required deposit will be at least $50.00 or 20%, except that in cases where the Boarding Reservation is valued at less than $50.00 you will be required to deposit the full amount of the Boarding fee in advance to secure the reservation. All deposits will be applied towards the cost of the boarding but may be forfeited in any case where you fail to comply with the cancellation policies as follows:
In order to receive a refund for your deposit on a Boarding reservation, you must cancel at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the scheduled reservation. For all bookings around 4th of July, Thanksgiving Christmas and New Years we require a 30 day notice of Cancelation in order to refund your deposit and cancel the boarding balance due. If you cancel within 30 days over these holidays you will still be required to pay the remaining balance due on the scheduled boarding. Any changes made in less than 30 days to dates reserved will still be charged.
For the convenience of our valued clients, we have established a fair and transparent cancellation and refund policy. In the event that a cancellation is necessary, we kindly request that a 14-day notice is provided in order to receive a refund of the deposit. This policy ensures that we have ample time to adjust our reservations and allocate the space to other potential clients. However, for reservations that fall within the busy holiday periods such as the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's, a longer notice period of 30 days is required for a refund of the deposit. This extended notice period takes into consideration the high demand during these festive occasions and allows us the opportunity to secure alternative bookings.
Alterations to scheduled time frames must be made at least 14 days in advance. Payment in full for all scheduled dates is required upon check-in for services, irrespective of the planned pickup date. For instance, if you book your dog for 8 days but opt to pick them up on day 3, you'll still be obligated to pay for the full 8 days originally scheduled. No exceptions.
We believe that this cancellation and refund policy strikes a fair balance between providing flexibility for our clients and minimizing any potential losses for our business.
If cancellation is not received in accordance with this policy your deposit will be forfeited. And if you dispute forfeited deposits you will be banned from our facility permanently.
